FAQs
How is this different from the Ad Spend ROI Calculator?
The ROI calculator works forward, you enter a budget and see what it might return. This one works backward, you tell us your sales goal and we estimate the budget you'd need to get there. Use whichever matches the question you're actually trying to answer.
Why does my industry affect the recommended budget so much?
Cost per click varies a lot by industry because it depends on how many businesses are competing for the same keywords. Real estate and healthcare tend to have higher costs per click than something like a local restaurant, simply because more advertisers are bidding for that attention.
The industry CPC estimate looks off for my business. What should I do?
Override it. These are general India-wide averages meant as a starting point if you don't have your own data yet. If you're already running ads, or your agency has shared numbers with you, always use your own actual cost per click instead.
Is a bigger budget always better?
Not necessarily. A bigger budget lets you reach more people, but if your targeting, ad copy, or website aren't converting well, you're just spending more to get the same weak results. Budget is only half the equation, execution is the other half.
Should I spend this whole budget from day one, or start smaller?
If you're new to ads, it's often smarter to start with 60-70% of the estimated budget for the first few weeks while you see what's actually converting, then scale up once you know what's working. We can help you figure out the right ramp-up plan for your specific situation.
Does this account for seasonal demand changes?
No, this gives you a steady monthly estimate. If your business has busy seasons (like wedding season for certain services, or festival periods for retail), you'll likely want to increase budget during those windows and can pull back during slower months.
